How iLook produces and reviews its face-analysis output
iLook uses a versioned model prompt and a fixed server-side scoring rubric. It reports visible, photo-specific cues and publishes the limits that make those cues change.
Scoring contract
The overall score weights facial harmony at 30%, symmetry at 20%, jawline and structure at 20%, skin appearance at 15%, and eyes and brows at 15%. Face shape and phi score are separate context and do not change the weighted score.
Photo sensitivity
Camera distance, lens characteristics, head angle, crop, expression, lighting, focus, compression, hair, and accessories can change visible output. The model cannot recover exact three-dimensional geometry from one image.
Safety and privacy
Every scan requires an adult and lawful-use attestation. Website and app scans may be saved in the submitter's private history until deletion. API-key requests remain transient unless an API product states otherwise. iLook does not create face embeddings or a reusable landmark archive.
Sources policy
Scientific or technical claims must link to the original publication, standards body, or official platform documentation where available. Marketing claims require reproducible product evidence. Unverified testimonials, invented statistics, and unsupported accuracy claims are not permitted.
Editorial and corrections policy
Arctan Technologies Private Limited publishes and reviews iLook content. Material product changes update the page date and related Markdown mirror. Corrections are logged, applied across affected surfaces, and may be requested through the contact page.
Research status
The 2026 stability benchmark is currently a preregistered protocol. Results will be published only after a licensed synthetic adult dataset is acquired and the documented runs are completed.
